deference -a courteous expression of esteem or regard.
emulate -strive to equal or match, especially by imitating.
imitate -reproduce someone's behavior or looks.
mimic -to imitate a person or manner, especially for satirical effect.
endemic - a disease constantly present to greater or lesser extent in a particular locality.
aborigine - characteristic of or relating to people inhabiting a region from the beginning
inchoate - Newly begun, incomplete, not organized.
precursor -a substance from which another substance is formed.
volatile - evaporating readily at normal temperatures and pressures.
