Eat, Pray, Love
Eat, Pray, Love, is a novel written by Elizebeth Gilbert. It is a true story about a woman who travels to Italy, India, and Indonesia in order to find herself. Elizebeth has everything a person could want. She is a successful writer, wealthy, and married. But even though to others she may seem to have her life in order, inside she suffers from depression, and lonliness. She feels pressure to start a family, and she also wants to get a divorce from her husband. One day she decides to change her life in order to try to find happiness. She divorces her husband, starts taking yoga classes, and also starts learning Italian. She decides to travel to three different countries for four months each. The first country she goes to is Italy. While she is in Italy she learns Italy, gets over her depression, and eats a lot of Italian food. Then she goes to India where she stays in an Ashram. While she is there she learns about devotion and prayer. She becomes a lot more spiritual and describes how during one of her meditations she goes into a different dimension and is in the hand of God. The last country she visits is Indonesia. She goes to a small island called Bali, where she mets a medicean man who teaches her more about meditation, prayer, and God. She makes many friends in Bali, and also finds love. She mets a Brazillian man named Felipe and they end up falling in love. In the end Elizebeth goes to three different countries. Italy to eat, India to pray, and Indonesia where she finds love.
